Home / 6. The vaccine manufacturers have zero liability
All of the manufacturers of the Covid-19 vaccines being used in the UK have been granted zero liability by the UK Government. [1]
If your child is injured by the vaccine, you will not be able to sue the manufacturer and they will not have to give you any compensation.
An AstraZeneca senior executive explained why pharmaceutical companies have requested zero liability in July 2020. He said: “This is a unique situation where we as a company simply cannot take the risk if in…four years the vaccine is showing side effects.” [2]
If your child is severely damaged by a vaccine then you may be given a one-off payment of £120,000 by the Government. This is only for people who are deemed to have been left ‘severely disabled’ by a vaccine, which means ‘at least 60% disabled’ according to the Government website. [3]
